Happy 2 yr SLirthday to me!

Yayy Happy SLirthday to me! So I guess it's offical, if you have spent 2 yrs inside SL you are completely and totally addicted. LOL I didnt go all out this year planning a party or anything, actually it's now almost 11pm here at my home, and I havent even logged in today...I KNOW I'm going to hear about this from my buddies. "Here we waited on you to log in, and you decide to show up when we have all logged off." RL over SL I've always said, not always practiced, but I've tried! It's hard to pull yourself away from your thoughts, and creativities, and extremely hard to pull yourself from great people and conversations. I do not regret any part of my SL so far. I have met a lot of different people from all walks of life, some I hold as my very close friends, even though we have never met face to face in the real world. Sound crazy? Well if you are another devout SL'er you know exactly what I mean. I have went from total gamer n00b to an uber g33k, ok maybe I havent reached full on g33k status yet, but I'm VERY close. When you choose fixing your computer over a cracked windshield in your car, I'd say you are pretty close to either g33k or full on nutty.
At this time I want to just thank all of my customers who have supported me and fueled my creativity over the last 2 yrs. I really want to thank all my great friends I have made in SL, who have stuck beside me through all the ups and downs. If it werent for great friends, there would be no reason for me to log into SL everyday. I want to thank my ISP for keeping my net up and running. Want to thank my loving husband for supporting me during my "crazy on SL for days" periods. I want to thank dell support for the first year that I played SL to keep my computer in top shape to run SL, even though the computer barely held up due to my insane amount of time on SL. I want to thank tigerdirect.com for hooking me up with great deals on PC parts that made it possible for me to have a computer that actually works somewhat properly with SL. Why am I thanking people on my birthday like I've won some "oldbe award" here? geeshh, it's late what can I say? Anyway to wrap this up and get in game...I love you all! Wishing myself many more years in SL, ya know or at least until it all crashes and burns, and then we meet back up in yahoo chat, ewwwww yahoo chat! *bites tongue*

New Stuffs @ Quixotic Trance

Weeehaww new stuff! I dont have a lot of time to write today, but I thought I would post the new stuff I made! Safety Punk Belts! Whohooo more punkish gadgets! For both men and women these belts have a steampunk feel to them, with safety pins made as chains, a battery pack with actual working lights on the back! A rusted metal belt and blackened metal belt are included in each package. Belts are mod/no copy/transfer! Oh and I even made the little excess strap piece on the front as a flexi! Each of the round pieces on the back are lights, touch each once to turn them on, and touch them again to turn them off. Mmmmm yummy punk stuff, I cant get enough of it! The top and gloves I am wearing in the ad are from BareRose, pants are one of my creations, shoes and hair are from Old Gravy, and the arm bands can also be found at my store.
In the men's ad, the pants, shirt, and arm bands are available at my store, shoes can be found at Heart's Desire, and hair at BareRose.
I also have out the Uncle Sam complete avatar for the 4th of July, as well as a new emote sprayer designed with only 4th of July emotes that shoot out of either an Uncle Sam hat, or a firecracker that you hold in your hand. Stop on by the store and check these out, and please keep checking the blog and store, I am in the process of making a new 4th of July avatar for the ladies this year! Last year I made the Uncle Sam, which started as a custom job for someone and was short on time and didnt get to make anything for the ladies, but this year I am already working to make a complete avatar for the ladies for the 4th! The emote water bottle, and 4th of July emote sprayer are both transfer, so you can get them for your friends, and pass around the fun! They work by HUD, it's as easy as clicking an emote picture, someone's name, and POOF the fun begins! Oh I put in a pic of the 4th of July Emote shooter..hehe I cant get enough gadgets in SL!

Losing Account Info is teh sux0rz!

Howdy howdy ppl! Ok, why haven't I posted since Feb you ask? Welllll I kinda forgot my account info, and yeah I sux0rz. LOL I told you all from my first post that this would be an experiment to see if I could keep up with it at all. Let me fill you in on a few things about me...I check my email um maybe once a week, I never check my answering machine, sometimes I check the voice mail on my cell phone, oh boy I'm a mess. LOL I do though, check skype, and my SL notecards, and IM's daily. I guess I've been pretty lazy ever since instant messaging came along...that's my excuse. I've never been a "letter writer" type of person, but hey I'll talk to you in IM or voice all day long. So my deepest apologies for not posting for months.
Let's see new stuff that is going on...hmmm..OH! We had a HUGE 12 hr sim party at Urbane, and yes I stayed for the ENTIRE event! HOOoooooooo! I met so many awesome ppl during that 12 hour span, everyone was so great, and I only had to deal with one griefer! I'd say that's a pretty successful event! Special thanks to all the DJ's who performed for us, it was so much more than I thought it would be. DoubleDown kept the party going smoothly all 12 hrs, while the rest of us lost ourselves in the electronica music. It is such a small world, one of the DJ's, DJ Nitron is actually from my area! Being from a small town in MO this meant a lot to me. Much love to all the DJ's and thank you all for helping us celebrate our one year anniversary on Urbane!
After a day/night of complete partying the managers at Urbane decided to completely remodel our event area now named "The Backwoods & Spheremid". The Backwoods is a huge nature/park/woodsy type area set aside for dj'd events, sitting around chatting, hiking, taking in some awesome scenery, hanging out with that special someone, ToobSoccer and much more! DoteDote Edison, and Nogard Codesmith have put the new ToobSoccer pool together in the pond located in the woods. Hopefully real soon we will get some teams, and games going! The rest of the Backwoods has small camping sites, a big event area, and a new game that Nogard has been working on for a few weeks now...Fishing!! Look for this in your event list soon! Nog is a great game builder, he had just finished Zorb, before starting the Fishing game. Zorb is really exciting and you can come out and play it anytime at Urbane! Now, I'm sure you are thinking what the crap is "The Spheremid"? Well if you tp into the Backwoods you will see a teleporter that will take you 500M up into the clouds to our new gaming area we call "The Spheremid". Nogard is the genius behind this awesome build and teleport system. Each colored stick on the center pole, takes you higher and high up through the Spheremid. Keep your eye out events are coming soon! We are all juggling RL, our SL businesses, and trying to keep an event area and island running, it's a job but we are slowly getting there! Urbane Meltdown 07

Urbane Meltdown 2007 took place on Feb. 2nd! The entire sim family got together for a giant snow and ice melting party in the Square. We gathered together at 7pm, for a night of music, dancing, ice skating, and craziness (of course!). Several vendors gave away GREAT items they donated for raffle prizes: Dnel DaSilva of Xessories, Celeste Lehane of Celestial Secrets, Heart Wishbringer & Joe Stravinsky of Heart's Desire, SexyEyes Valkerie of AFantasy Emporium, Sunn Thunders ofSunnTee, Rose Farina of Rose Petal Creations, Carl Metropolitan of CMD Gallery, Xenophon Cyr, Me of Quixotic Trance, Nogard Codesmith of Wo0T Games, and of course Mr. DoteDote Edison who gave himself as one of the "grand prizes"(Dote you are a crack-up). LOL Special thank you to everyone who donated, and make Urbane what it is today! *hugs*
I'd also like to thank my good pals, Champie Jack and JetBlue Flyer who helped decorate and write some scripts for some things we needed for the party. I also thank each and every one who come out to support Urbane by your purchases from the many shops on Urbane as well as hanging out and playing games on our event area "The Lot".
We are planning for the Urbane 1 Yr Anniversary party that will be coming up really soon! Wow a whole year on the island already! We all had some really nice things to say the night of the party. Dnel made a couple of speeches throughout the night that were very heart felt, hugs and thanks were thrown all around that night, you couldn't have asked for a better time than we had. Needless to say after about 4 hours of Dj'n I was very tired, and even though my net started acting stupid and I lost stream toward the end of the party, we all still had a really great time. If I can get a picture from the night I will get it posted in here, I was so busy I actually didn't get any pictures! :O I know...Xar the Picture Takin Queen didn't get one picture! Is it the end of the world? LOL
Well I told you from the beginning that I will be days behind on my blog, and here it is, days later and I've finally gotten around to posting again. If you see big gaps don't be alarmed, I'm just an uber busy person. hehe

Blog Blog Blog All We Ever Do Is Blog!

Greetings Everyone! ^_^ So, I have noticed that everyone is doing this blog thing now, and thought I would get in on some of this action. I'm not sure yet if I will be able to keep up with this, but hey it's worth a shot.
So a little about my life in SL. I came to SL over a year ago, and ever since I haven't been sure if I still have my RL. Oh, let me put in this warning now...I am a habitual "lol" typer, most of the time I am in great spirits and usually laughing about something, or finding something humorous, so dont be alarmed if you see "lol" about every other line. LOL Okies, back to SL. Let's see here, I have a store named "Quixotic Trance" located on the island of Urbane (my home), full of unique and funky items for people with a cyberpunk/punk/goth/casual type flare about them. I have everything from clothing, hair, belts, shoes, piercings, and other items you wont find anywhere in SL. I have just recently put out some new Valentine outfits and accessories! yay! I try to put out new things every one to two weeks as my time permits, so always be on the look out for new things.
Hmmm let's see, oh, things I like to do in SL. My first love in SL was hosting, I started out in SL by hosting events and DJ'n. If you dont find me at my store you can almost always find me on "The Lot" in Urbane. It's our little relaxation spot we go to when we just want to be crazy and let go. I also love to DJ, so if you ever stop in at Urbane, you will more than likely hear me over the airwaves. My first rl love has always been music. I love ToobLife Soccer or "toobz" as I like to call it. We have been trying for months now to get that off the ground, hopefully we will get it underway soon! Most of the time I am either working, shopping, gaming, or just hangin around being crazy with my friends, or are they crazy because of me? Meh, well either way we still all have a great time! LOL
Well ug, I've stayed up way to late once again, so I will wrap up this first post. I know it's corny, but hey isn't everything when you first start it? hehe
